    Hi all,

Here are the minimum PC specs to run PoP, there are no recommended specs as basically anything you have over this will run it nicely.

    Processor: Dual core processor 2.6 GHz Intel® Pentium® D or AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 3800+ (Intel Core® 2 Duo 2.2 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ or better recommended)
RAM: 1 GB Windows XP/2 GB Windows Vista
Video Card: 256 MB DirectX® 10.0–compliant video card or DirectX 9.0–compliant card with Shader Model 3.0 or higher (see supported list)*
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0 or 10.0–compliant sound card (5.1 sound card recommended)
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0 or 10.0 libraries (included on disc)
    DVD-ROM: DVD-ROM dual-layer drive
    Hard Drive Space: 8 GB
Peripherals Supported: Keyboard, mouse, optional controller (Xbox 360® Controller for Windows recommended)

    * Supported Video Cards at Time of Release:

    hmmmmm...
i've got a laptop with 2 gig ram, so that's good enough i guess...
got an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600, so that will run it too i guess...
i've got intel core 2 due 2.00 GHZ, so that's under the minimum, but thouldn't it be able to run it with that at some lower settings?
can someone tell me how i check if my laptop has the dual-layer drive DVD-ROM? i guess that shouldn't be a problem, but just in case...
Oh yea, just a side note, my laptop can run Assassin's Creed on DX9 on highest resolution with full details and graphics, i only turn of shadows because they slow down the framerate alot.

Can anyone please tell me if my laptop should be able to run the game? If this one can run it, i'll buy it, if it can't, i'll show you the specs of another laptop i can use, which has 3 GB ram and a better video card.

    Thnx in advance!

Yay, seems that I will be able to run this very nicely Yeeeepeeeee!

The recommened hard-drive space killed me tho... it seems I'll have a lot of uninstalling and clearing to do

Dahaka: I don't think you're going to have any problems either. AC had the same min specs, if I remember it well. And Intel processors don't have problems even if you need a few megs more... I had a friend who could run Double Agent that required 3.0 CPU with his 2.1 singlecore. He didn't have any problems.

I just checked the minimum system req for AC and it seems it's exactly the same as the new PoP the only difference i noticed was the hard drive space, but i've still got plenty of that (seems AC needs 4 GB more than the new PoP)
oh and forget the dual-layer stuff i said, AC needed it so i've got it xD
    looks like i'm buying this

I never know what this means. I know I have a dual core 1.9Ghz AMD processor. What do all the other numbers mean?

It's not officially supported but as if it's more powerful than the above cards then it'll probably work but no guarantees.
