Need help with SH3.exe error | Forums

Receiving the error that "the applications module SH3.EXE was modified. It may be damaged or infected by virus. Reinstall the application."

Unfortunately, I have uninstalled, removed all folders related to SH3 and reinstalled. Game works on the first fire up, but after that it repeats the same error. Have ran McAfee and no viruses are found on the drive. I really do not want to have to formate and reinstall everything to get the game to run.

P.S. Have had the game for over a year with no problems, then one day poof, the above error.

Yup, it'll do that at times. When you uninstall, did you also delete all files in the 'my documents' file? Once you've uninstalled, go through your OS system explorer and search out all files. Then you can reinstall.
