Fellas, at the moment I can't even get past the buggy scene (i'm not great at games but have finished HL2, and Unreal 2004) I have tried the save game from the console, but it doesnt seem to work for me, my FarCry is patched to the latest version, any help appreciated

    Which map are you on?
There are a few buggies in the first one, across the inlet. Is that where you are?

The first buggy is on the other side of the camp across the river from where the binocs are. Where exactly are you getting killed? After getting the buggy or before?

First checkpoint or autosav is just before you get the binocs and then cross the water.
I'm guessing your problem is the clunky default keybd setup. I found it impossible.
    My setup is:
forward ... Rmouse ( and use mouse for most all moving )
    fire ...... Lmouse
left ...... A ( use keys for fine adjustments )
    right ..... D
    back ...... S
    use ....... E ( not F .. stupid )
    lean L .... Q
    lean R .... W
    toggle crouch .. C
    toggle prone ... V
    Zoom ( scope ) .. Z
    toggle fire mode .. X
Jump or hold breath .. Space bar
All the rest is default .. sprint is shift, etc
This setup is fairly typical of most other games, and has been in use for a long
time. You should adapt to it easily. After a little practice in easy mode, you
have to think .. hide, stay low, look around, listen. Note what works. Note what
    does not work.
