Thread: Noobie Question: Do USB Headsets Work For EndWar On A PS3? | Forums

  1. #1
I have a Logitech ClearChat Comfort USB headset and would like to use it to play EndWar on my new PS3. In EndWar, the microphone works but I can't hear the sound through the headset. Either the headset is only partially compatible or there is probably a noobie set-up issue.

Under my PS3 XMB Sound Settings, the Audio Output Settings are configured for the cable to my TV ("Audio Input Connector/SCART/AV Multi").

Under XMB Accessory Settings, the Audio Device Settings are configured for "Logitech USB Headset" for both the input and output devices. Configuring this under XMB SEEMED to work OK; the sound came through the headphone and microphone worked.

The first indication of a problem was the EndWar Voice Trainer. While the headset microphone worked, the sound continued to come from the TV.

Is this a configuration issue or must I buy a Sony BlueTooth headset to play this game? Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

    Thanks!

This should cover both USB and bluetooth headset setup.
