Thread: Attention SCDA PC users with problems, please read! | Forums

    If you look at the sticky items above, I have requested a headcount for users running into certain problems with SCDA. If you are running into one of those problems, I cannot stress enough that I need you to post a simple "yes I am running into this problem" reply.

    Other items I have noted that appear but not as common as those listed above are:

    1. Saved games not loading correctly.
    2. Conflicts with SLI configurations.
    3. D3D9.exe when starting single player game.
    4. Video Settings not being saved properly.
    5. Game installs, System Meets requirements, Game does not launch.

    If you are running into another type of problem, post the information here. If have a problem and you see that somone else has already posted on this thread, use the quote function and state you are also running into this problem.

    #5 - Attempting to play the single player game, Windows simply states that Splintercell4.exe has run into a problem and needs to close.

    When it finishes loading Okhotsk, it needs to save for some reason, but it can't and gives me a "buffer overrun detected" error.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

    Description: Game opens normally, logos play, gets to menu screen, new game, mode selection, loading cinematic (panning over ship), gets to part with helicopter flying away, pauses for around three seconds, gets to a screen saying "Saving" with a progress bar, error noise, alt-tab or ctrl-alt-del to get to desktop, "Buffer overrun detected" error, mouse keeps going back to top left corner of screen so I have to use keyboard to select OK.

    #5 for me, game doesnt launch ("must have" and "cannot spawn sam" errors, depending und launching method)
    edit: singleplayer mode of course, versus runs more or less fine so far.
