engine flameout or bug? | Forums

Hey guys,

i just noticed something weird, which seems to be a new feature since FC or so.
Each time i fly the Mig-29 under high G conditions, my engines turn themself off. The vitual throttle lever seems to be stuck in the idle position. Is that a flameout or something? I never get that in the F-15. If so, how do i restart?

There is some stuff written in the FC manual about flameout's and restarting procedures, in flight restarting, over fueling engines on start-up etc, BUT I have never experienced one or have heard or read of anyone actually having them either. Perhaps it wasn't modelled in FC and they are waiting for Black Shark. It does sound like a bug tho, because I can turn off my engines mid flight and coast, have full movement of the throttle and restart normalling.

should I even try to run this sim. Am getting gold edition for xmas. Should I just return it unopened? 12/21/05
