    They "say" it takes about 4 weeks, if not more I guess. So many people have found their Xbox 360 to be defective so I'm GUESSING more people are sending in their consoles. Hence, bigger orders have been place, ergo, it should take longer to repair EVERYONE's 360.

    My little brother bought Halo 3 on his birthday and the 360 was working fine. Then, he put it in and played for a while and all hell broke loose. It's the reason why my 360 is on its way to the care center.

    when I sent my xbox 360 in to get fixed, I nagged the people a lot and eventually they just sent me a brand new xbox 360. Of course now this one has problems with freezing and such but that's besides the point. Just keep your presence known to the repair staff, but in a polite manner. At least that worked for me.
