Thread: The dagger, the medallion and the swords***SPOILERS*** | Forums

Has anyone wondered how the prince was able to kill the sand creatures when he lost the dagger of time in SOT ? I thought ok - it's the last sword that is doing the trick, but than it occured to me that in WW he didn't have it.And it always looked kinda set up - that straight after he parted with the dagger he came across the sword which in its fighting capability is stronger even than the dagger. So I thought could it be the medallion that was doing the trick in SOT giving magical powers to every weapon the bearer holds to dispose of the sand creatures? Or at least to every sword the bearer is holding cause Farrah was shooting with her bow without killing them. I can explain it with a theory that he/she who holds the medallion is constantly in contact with it and if the person cariies a sword the sword is always in his hand so is connected to the medallion and when Farrah shoots her arrows they are not in any contact with her. The weak link of that theory as far as I can see is that in WW the prince was throwing the swords and killing enemies. But I thought that differenr artifacts should have different powers. They all control the time, store sand and give the bearer protection, but have other purposes and functions that differ. it also occured to me that in SOT the prince couldn't store sand in he amulet and WW he had somehow upgraded What do you think?

it's a good theory, and it could be that way. I had something like that in mind too, but I wonder if the PoP team did that on purpose.
