    Hello,

i have installed SH4, then the german voice pack and after that the patch v.1.4(The same on my friends PC).

Now we wanted to play together over the internet, but i doesnt work.
I can see the open Session but cannot join(the button is disabled). Its the same conversely.
    Latency is 999.
    What can i(we) do?
Other Online Games just work!without Portconfigurations. I mena the Router open the ports automaticly if needed.

Welcome to the forum and be assured that you are not alone.

I spent a whole week trying to sort out this problem on my system. I have 'Router' and have Norton Internet Security installed.

I set all the ports that were required and one issue I resolved was the issue of a 'Static IP address'. I learnt how to create this by reading articles at PortForward website.

I expected that to correct the issue, but it did not, it may work for you.

The answer I found for my system was that I used an automatic username/password imputter for the Ubisoft website. When I switched this off I was not just able to play but to host as well.

There are lots of people who are having problems with this as you can see when you go to the Ubisoft server and see all those trying to host with latency 999.

I honestly beleive that you and your mate can get it sorted just by making a few changes at a time and then your mate will be able to see if it had corrected the issue.

Stick with it, it is a good game on line, I play with a bunch of guys at Wilvesdenflotilla.com, regular games, new maps and use teamspeak, (if you want it) during the game.

Somebody else sorted theirs out by imputting all the ports in both TCP/UDP, getting the game to work and then switching them off one by one until they found that it was able to connect on line with only the necessary ports open.

    Good Luck
