Linking an existing uplay account to an xbox account | Forums

Only echoing what others have said.. First time I started Your shape, the Uplay was already enabled (cuz I'd played Assassins Creed 2 and Splinter Cell Convition prior). I go into Uplay which seems to start and recognize me, but doesn't show Your Shape to the games I have or have played. YourShapeCenter.com keeps saying "We couldn't retrieve your game data." Is Ubi looking into this? Seems to be a big problem..

I set up my Xbox Live account today, and my Uplay account. But I can't see any way to relate that to my login account here at this site. It would be nice if there were real instructions somewhere on what to do to make the connection.

As Readyfortakeoff indicated, he had a problem and then it "all of a sudden" worked. I had the same problem. Here is what seems to be happening. When you create your Uplay account (and link it to your Xbox account), it doesn't actually know anything about your progress. ONCE YOU PLAY THE GAME AGAIN, then it will update information at the website. Of course, you might have some login confusion to go with that if you did what I did and created an account here before you created your Uplay account. But if you can get logged in properly, you should see your information AFTER you have played the game once. Note that while it will know the total calories from your profile, it won't know anything about your daily statistics prior to when you create your Uplay account. I guess that it doesn't store this with your profile on your hard drive, so anything that isn't uploaded to the website right when you play will be lost. So I guess that this will mean you lose information about any session you run when your internet connection is down as well.

It sure would help if UbiSoft provided adequate instructions to go with the registration process! They could have explained this to save a lot of frustration.

this is bull, i have a uplay account and xbox live, and i dont see any option on either to link the two

soo, i'm guessing this hasn't been fixed yet? i'm borrowing the game from my sister to try it out. so far i really like it and would like to get it myself sometime soon. as far as i can tell everything is linked, but it can't retrieve the data for friends. i know quite a few friends who have this and i'd really like to challenge them, but it says my friends' list is empty and that i should tell people about the game so that i can challenge them .... how do i tell people about the game?

I can see my friends just fine in the Your Shape Center.
