Add friends with DOT in the nickname | Forums

hello

as you all can see I have a DOT in my nick name.
not only me but some friends too and I cant add them to my friend list beause I cant use the DOT key ingame.

It need to be fixed.

This is terrible, if only I had known the fact that I have a dot in my name would compromise my entire experience. Please fix this.

It's going to be in the Patch v1.02, which I think is going to be released tomorrow (Monday).

Patch 1.02 fixes

Single + Multiplayer
- Fixes an issue that prevents player settings and game progress from being saved if the user's Windows login name contains unicode characters.
- Fixes an issue where users could not add friends whose names contain dot characters.

Multiplayer
- Changed network communication port from 1000 to 7917 in order to fix connection issues caused by some ISPs' restrictions.
