    Thank you Admiral Fluckey!

He passed away in a very fitting place...Anne Arundel, MD is the location of some of the very first settlers to come to America. A true patriot among patriots.

Running from those gun boats must have been quite a ride. The story about the Japanese train is the second one involving a U.S. sub and a train. I can't remember her name (somewhere in 'Last Patrol') a sub in a harbor
noticed a troop train pulling onto a dock and sent three torps into the dock. The dock collapsed.

    Rest in peace Admiral!

    Thanks Lester.

Very sad news - I recommend Adm. Fluckey's book very highly, currently re-reading it, in fact.

Eugene Bennett Fluckey was a true hero, some called him crazy but the results he got where amazing. I take my hat off in respect to this old fox. May his sole rest in peace.
