I'm having the same problem-- EIB won't run and in fact every time I tried reinstalling it kept my WIN 7 system from starting (but repaired itself). Diagnostic said sfsync02.sys was corrupt.

Come on, Ubisoft!! Patch it!!

I went through this whole process with starforce and there is no fix except a patch.
We all are fans of BIA, but this is a real problem for those of us who love playing EIB. Pennygod says he will pass it up the line as a problem. Ubisoft...you have many loyal followers but your rep has taken a severe hit with this problem.

While I am on the rant...I also have Hell Highway and I had to buy an xbox controller in order to play the game...my sidewinder and Logitech keeps spinning...another glitch...you guys need to get your "****" together.

We pay good money for your games and in the end we all get screwed.

same problem here, i bought Road to Hill and the is nothing i can do to play it on Windows 7, what the hell of support it is?....

What ****es me off is that brothers in arms hells highway and road to hill 30 both work on my system with windows 7 yet earned in blood does not due to protection issue which is pure bs. This game was released at a time when vista was around and 7 was a upcoming thought yet no one bothered to make this work. So basically I paid close to 30 dollars for a coaster. Thanks Ubisoft Way to think ahead and be proactive.

Signed Never buying another ubisoft game again unless a patch released for this one. It wont even run in windows xp mode.

I vote for a patch as well. I loved this game when I had it on the old xp pc that died. Starforce said they would help with updating the game with a new patch.

I'm having the same problem I have window 7 and can't play until there is a patch.

I got EIB to work on Win 7 when I went to the setup file and changed the compatability to xp BEFORE installing the game. Sad thing is that this will not work with BIA! Still working on a fix for that.
