I just purchased the game from a retail store today. The game box was still quite sealed. There is no CD-Key to be found anywhere.

What's the deal here??

Did you is go back to the retailer that sold you the game?

What form of the game did you buy? If you downloaded the game you should have received an email with the key, sometimes its called the serial number.

I've just installed Settlers 7 and when I registered online I didn't get asked for a product key? I'm sure that can't be right. And at the moment I'm going through the "update launcher".

I have a feeling I still won't be able to play this game!

Do I need to install a patch in order to play?

yes .. you still need to update the game first .. once the update is completed you can then run the game and enter the cd-key/serial on the pop up screen .. hope this helps

Hi, same install problems here. Key allready in use.. The first time ubi couldnt help me and tried the 2nd time but still no answer. Tell me.. how did you get the crack? I havent seen how to solve this problem in this forum..

I called the helpdesk (english) and the girl was nice and i found out that i had a account on my girlfriends name...lol! Now i enjoy!! Check all your email accounts ..

Here's my Issue. Have a ligitimate game (settlers 7), brought and paid for. Installed it played it, great. Had a problem with windows. format, reinstall, great. Now the game is telling me my key is already in use. OF COURSE IT IS! What's its problem! it should be bound to my account (which works, hence i'm typing here). UBISOFT! are going down in my estimations. I wouldn't be so erked but there's no direct way to resolve the issue. Gonna try to reinstall the game. someone from UBISOFT better get back to me.

You shouldn't need to put your key in again. Just log in as you did before your Windows problems.
