Glow effects: how to disable? | Forums

Does anybody know how to disable the glow effects in the game? You know, the lighting effects which tend to soften-up images and covers-up fine details. In World of Warcraft I believe it was called "full screen glow effect" and I disabled it there as well. Other terms that might be used to describe it is HDR and/or Bloom.

I just dislike the look of it and I prefer nice, crisp, detailed images and models. The radiant glory unit is a good example of how white light just smudges and covers-up nice details that could be displayed on it.

I'm an Nvidia user, 2 GTX 460's in SLI, and I have the latest beta driver installed.

Well, here's another topic alongside this thread's original one: Do these effects bother anybody else? What are your thoughts?

Hopefully Ubi-hole adds a video option to disable it (after they fix the more important issues). I wouldn't mind the slight boost to fps either.
