I could listen to this for hours on repeat. Sometimes I do.
Hey, Sorry for my ignorance but is the above Song taken from PORTAL 2 soundtrack, or the band made the above Tune for the game ? I was doing a search, and within that Portal 2's name was also there ? but It's good slow song and Tune.Originally posted by cooldude6681:

by the way, I like this Tune and Dance Beat ! tell me what do you all think about this Song ? your honest opinion, but I don't know which Artist has made this melody ? maybe a private DJ.
Please Ignore some of the Bad comments made, honestly I don't think this song deserves such feedback.![]()

The Portal 2 team contacted The National and asked them to write a song for the game.
As for the tune you linked to, I like it, despite the fact that it reminded me of the song "My Heart Will Go On" from The Titanic. It's a good beat, and could easily be adapted (or sampled, even) for a range of applications. I could see it being used in a cutscene (probably for an RPG), or as the basis for a dance mix in a club.
Based on the comments, and the other videos in that user's channel, I would venture a guess to say that ra9ooo is the artist who made it.
"Don't Stop Me Now" - Queen
Ahh, I love this song. It makes me happy.
Freddie was always a great performer.
"Pheon is SO WITTY." - Scythy
Ok, that's good that portal team contacted the group for the song. Btw, the song from TITANIC is a very slow one, so I don't think that's a Beat or a club mix ? because Celine Dion is a pop artist ?Originally posted by cooldude6681:

But my knowledge of music is nil, so maybe that song can be used as a club mix ? Anyway, I don't know if you all ever heard about Electronic or Ambient music ? But My friend introduced me to this. And I actually like these 2 artist, but Only some of their songs. You might also like the sound ?

Yeah, my brain makes some weird associations. I'm not entirely sure why it made me think of that song.Originally posted by justinpunny:

Haha, never mind that. I was just kind of confused, so I had to ask. But I think some songs can be remixed, and be used as a Beat, imo. Anyway, one more Electronic Tune from 'Boards Of Canada'.:
