Thread: Any ETA on Matchmaking fix? | Forums

  1. #1
the matchmaking is seriously broken. either there are actually no players online when i'm looking for games(which i really find hard to believe) or else there's something wrong with the system. I'm ending up waiting over 30 minutes at a time and only find a maximum of four other people online.

    1. Does ubisoft know about this problem?
    2. Am i the only one?
    3. Is there any fix in the works?

    Hi There,

Ubisoft are aware of different issues that are affecting gamers, on different platforms.

PC owners will see a patch soon dealing with a few issues, and console owners have a fix coming soon however as always - people should always contact Support about it.

If you have not already done so, your feedback to Support is just as needed now as ever.

with all due respect Mr_Shade, i've looked at the support page.

Nowhere does it explain in any good way why the game i spent good money on has a matchmaking system that's absolutely inefficient. I've played many games online before and I know what a good matchmaking queue should look like if there is a decent player base.

My question was whether there is a problem with the player base or with the matchmaking system itself. i have no connectivity issues at all and the games run gorgeously when i get into one... i'm just wondering why it takes up to 45 mins to find one just for a 10 minute game. I have full faith that you appreciate this is both time consuming and frustrating.

I would simply like to know that the issue is actively being dealt with.

I'm thinking the ETA for a matchmaking fix shares a date with the ETA of AC3, but tha's just me.

I realise support is there and I don't mean to be a pest but if Ubi wants info on whats wrong and what they need to fix couldn't they just come here and read a bit rather than having people fill out a bunch of support tickets? I dunno, just a thought...

Very glad to hear a fix is on the way though

Support play a vital role in trouble shooting and collating information..

If I send in a report of an issue with for example 'sound issues' - the first thing the Devs do, is ask Support how many people are affected and what platforms etc..

If support answer 'errr no one has reported that' - then I have nothing to back up my report

So it's just as vital to report to support, as post on the forum - in fact, if the issue is already posted about - you can simply report it to support
