    My specs:

    asus p5b
    e6600
    2gb patriot 667mhz (memtested fine)
    7950gx2
    700w PSU

I can run prime95 all I want on this thing, I can play FEAR for hours. But I can only play Far Cry for about 5 minutes. It BSODs on me w/ an nv4_disp.dll infinite loop error... Is there anything I can do?

I've been running a 9800pro for the last 3 years or so and this really brings me back to my geforce3 days... the good ol' infinite loop.

Sounds like you didn't use Driver Cleaner to clear out those old ATi drivers completely...

That error message refers to the nVidia drivers specifically. Perhaps a fresh re-install of said drivers would help.
