    Thanks,

I am amazed that people show no interest in this when it is critical information.

In theory if everyone was taking up 128 KB/s (Kilobytes)....you would need a server with an internet connection upstream speed of 3.9Mb/s....To Host 30 players properly.
On the Other Hand, If we are talking about Kilobits per second (Kb/s) you could run 28-30 players with a .50Mb/s upstream speed. It would take just over 2.0Mb/s upload speed to run the full 128 players.

It would be nice to know from the moderators whether the upload speed is indeed 128 kbps(Kb/s) or 128 KBps(KB/s).

In the best case senerio (Kb/s or kbps), you're probally talking about a cost around the $350 a month range to run 128 players on a personal server. It will likely be cheaper to rent 128 slots from a game hosting company; Around $150-$200 a month likely.

Why would it cost $350 dollars a month to run 128 players on a personal server?

    Just to clarify
    Moderators are not developers.
We get the same second/third hand information you do.

Ok, I got you. Don't have that problem here in Sweden. By apartment complex is connected directly to fiber optic and right now have 100 Mbit/s down and about 30 up for around 60 dollars a month.

They will be expanding to 1000/100 in the near future for about twice that price and the ToS lets me have servers as long as its not a business.

I have a great connection by UK standards, but I am jealous Waffenator. Whatever it demands you will be able to run it. I am hoping my 2.5mb upstream will be enough.
