Hi guys, I cant get the DVD drive to read the DVD for anything and I have tried most of the stuff posted here. IS the Roxio CD Creator something that conflicts with the anti-piracy protection of the DVD? I dont think so, but I am just asking because I am desperate.

I had a similar problem. I was able to install and play the game on the first day I had it but after that the DVD drive would not recognize the disk. I do have Roxio, which I believe was conflicting with the drive. I then updated the firmware of the DVD drive and the game worked fine after that.

Can you post a link to the site where you downloaded the firmware? That would be most helpful

I have a new Dell machine and the Dell website pointed me to the drivers for my machine. I don't know if this will be helpful for any other machines...
