It's not an ubot, but the effect is the same

The boat fiering the torpedo is the norwegian Hauk(super-Hauk) class fpb.(im currently sailing with one of them)
I'm not sure wath class the target is.

The 'Skjold'-class patrol-boats (think they are called MKB (Missil-Kanon-BÃÂ¥t)) are the stealthy boat that the USN are interrested in, yes. Only one is built, KNM Skjold. I think it is in the states right now for a second round of evaluation. The combination of stealthy caractheristics and 60 knots speed is to my knowledge quite unique.

I'm quite convinced that the ship blown up by the Tp613 was the old 1950's corevette KNM Sleipner, or its sister KNM Ó*ger. They where phased out around 1990, AFAIK.

When I was in the military in 1988 - 1990 the number of ships, boats and wessels in the norvegian navy was around 90. Now it is ca 23.
The coastal artillery is not excisting any more. This is a paradox, considering our coastline is roughly as long as the U.S. combined coastlines..
