    Because Steam seems to have it's own unique problems. (Some of these may exist on the retail and downloadable clients as well)

    1. Can't retrieve Patch 1.01
    2. Can't connect to online servers due to #1.
    3. Missing DirectX 10 executable.
    4. If you relocated your Vista Saved Games folder, the system crashes on creating profile.

    The saitek x-52 does not work on the steam version for most people they get the "dump" error at ERSB, unsure if it is related to the fact that the patch is not available.

    Whenever I'm playing HAWX, my game will stutter when a video plays in the HUD, such as when the AWACS pilot, my wingman, or the commander talks. What in the hell is going on?!

    I didn't have this PROBLEM in the demo. Also, I have a system that more than satisfies the recommended settings and therefore I can play smoothly EVERY OTHER TIME apart from when videos play!!

    Specs:
    Windows Vista
    Intel E4400 C2D CPU
    2GB RAM
    200GB HDD
    Nvidia 8800GTS 640MB

    Please fix this Ubisoft, and please suggest any fixes anyone else!

    just found this thread.
    Is it only people with the steam versions that are having the saitek x52 crashes or is that with everyone? And if the patch fixes it any way to get it while having the Steam Version?

    Ubisoft just needs to make an update for steam. But can't they let us know when it will be released because it annoys me that i cannot play online with my friends because of version clash
