how to save a missing buddy? (please help) | Forums

okay.. so basically i just finished taking out kouassi, and ga***ba, but remember when ur buddy blows up the tanker gases on the train? well, i blew up some gas tank, and warren clyde (my favorite guy) calls me up and asks me to head to him, because hes being outnumbered by UFLL soldiers. so, i'm on my way, and then i got caught with malaria, which sucks, and i appeared at the pala church. afterwards it says 'You have One... New... Message' its Warren! except his message goes like this,
"YOU SUCK MAN! YOU SUCK! NOW IM DEAD!" and then it turns off, but it says he went missing, and since he was my favorite guy, i have been trying to get rid of him but i can't, because he was the only buddy who knew what to do with my character while fighting UFLL and APR. i but how can i save warren? i went back to where he supposedly 'went missing' i searched the train, everywhere in the area, he wasn't therewant to get him back, i know i cant get josip back, i mercy killed him because i knew he was dead. but how can i save warren? i went back to where he supposedly 'went missing' i searched the train, everywhere in the area, he wasn't there
if possible, give me some long, detailed advice. dont worry about spoiling the game either

I'd load up an earlier save and do the malaria mission before starting the one with Warren, it sounds like the malaria meant you couldn't save Warren in time. Unfortunately, a little frustrating, but not a bug though either.

Missing buddies can't be rescued or whatever. They are lost forever.

BTW I don't know exactly what you mean with this:

?
