    Is this card going to be supported at any point ?

    Could this be the reason I cannot load the game ??

    Yes

    SM3.0 required - and this won't change.
    You will need to get a 7800 or equivelent to play at useable frames per second.

    Just get a Radeon x1600 you can find them for around $100 or little higher if you buy online. Then you can play. You don't need Nvidia cards. or you can get Geforce 7800 or 7900
