hey sorry again..i forgot to mention that i have the PF+FB+AEP pack...do i need any kind of patch to play online..and pls id be grateful if any1 could guide me (the online play steps)

I would like sone help on this subject too, just got IL2 1946, and have downloaded the 4.08 patch, but cant get online.
I have downloaded the Hyperlobby Pro3 program, but when i try and join a game , the game just fire up.
If i try and join by starting the actual game itself and clicking on the Multiplay tab that just directs me to UBI.com and i dont get anywhere...

I think you can no longer play via UBI.com they don't over any multiplayer service for this game anymore. Only option are the Hyperlobby and the All Seeing Eye.

Install ASE go to Tools -> Options ->Game tab and select IL2:Forgotten Battles->browse to your 1946 directory and select the il2fb.exe -> Enter a Player Name->Hit ok and refresh the game browser. Double click on a server to join. If you are lucky it will work right away otherwise their might be problem with your dynamic ip. Report back if it doesn't work.

Make sure you have allowed IL2 to access the internet (firewall) or if you are behind a router make sure you allow IL2 to go through.

When i click to join the game in the Hyperlobby, i get a spinning disk , like the game is about to start, but it doesnt start, nothing happens at all.
