If you look, it still says that Mambonuts is still a moderator, so officially, he hasn't quite left...

Last time, when Evil (Topic creator) made the same "MINT OF thort" thread, CuZ (Another moderator) handled it and combined all of his posts.
Tnx Krazy...
Where as all that has happend here is that people have spammed a thread criticsiing the authors prosaic ability instead of commenting on the actual content.
Mint=Boss=Fly=.. whatever the young folks use for the word good...
So the suggestion is that a good map could be created by placing tunnels underground (bites lip wrt comment of an overground tunnel) and at the end of the tunnels you place the most desireable weapons: Discuss...
I'd love to make a good underground tunnel map, but everytime I sink the tunnel pieces into the ground, they fill up with dirt! Kind of an oversight on Ubi's part, eh? Let's give them tunnels, but don't let them actually use them underground!![]()
Yeah, Ubi shoulda make the tops of the tunnels flat and made them look relatively similar to something like concrete, dirt, etc. That way, you could make it seem like you are walking on the ground when you are actually walking on a tunnel, and therefore would make it seem like it's underground. Or, actually have a thin, flat piece that you could put over anything that is lowered into the ground to make it seem like that too is underground. The last part (starting with or) might be hard to understand due to my inability to explain things...

I agree with Brimtown that the tunnel brush is lame as is, but still better than the old method (putting rocks one by one over dug out land). You just have to be inventive in how you 'hide' the tunnel brushes. I put my tunnels in a dug out trench, then put a building, or walkway brush over it, or put the tunnel up high enough so players can't see the top, and disguise the enter/exits with raised land, trees, and/or stones so it looks natural in the side of a cliff.
Another way to hide the tunnel brush is to do like I did and make your entire map interconnecting tunnels (Map: Tunnels to Die 4).
