Laptops ok? for S7? | Forums

I have played Settlers RON and HOK with great success. I also play Dawn of Discovery and Pirates of the Burning Sea. All of which were unsure whether or not my graphics card would support them and have done so wonderfully.

I have an ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 128MB graphics card on my laptop, 2 gigs of ram and a dual core of 1.6 each.

Has anyone had any success playing Settlers 7 with a smaller graphics card like this?

I'm aware of the system requirements and don't want to just blindly buy the game without asking for input first.

ze box says X1900 is the lowest, as well as 256mb cards.
Further states that X1900 and up are the only ones that will work *at all* with the game.

I understand this and have read all the sys requirements. All of my other games have stated this as well and I've had success with them. That's why I'm asking if anyone has had any success with a similar system.
