Thread: Help... no sound | Forums

    Well... when I first installed the game, everything worked fine. Now after exiting it once and restarting it a little later, the sound is gone. All sounds before the menu work. After I get to the main menu and start the game, there is no sound. I turned off any sound effect modifiers, so the only thing that is on is the basic sound. Is there any way to fix this bug? The only way I found out is to reinstall the game, but I don't want to do that every time just so I can hear the sound. Please help!

    And before you tell me to update DirectX and my video and sound cards... I already did.

    it seems that the d-x that came with the game is some how corupting d-x #8 , a reinstall should fix you up
    Direct-X 8 needs to be reinstalled
