Thread: Wanted mode is.. | Forums

Manhunt is so much better than wanted. When I play hunted, I want to slowly walk over to my target, yet there is no hiding because of the terrible compass.

I want to be stealthy. I want to hind in plain sight, but in wanted mode I have to keep running or some ****** will kill me.

Don't any of you feel the same?

Have you unlocked Advanced Wanted yet? It's the most suitable mode for stealth based gameplay. I love it!

What's the difference between Advanced Wanted besides the fact that the compass won't tell you if your target it Up or Down?

It's pretty much the same easy crap lol. And no I'm not bashing the game I'm just saying there really wasn't a reason for Advanced Wanted it's like 1/10th of a harder level than normal Wanted.

If you are good at stealth it mgiht even be easier. But as I said before it's pretty much stealth all the time. Besides it's a lot easier to stay alive (even the whole 10 min) as people don't automatically know where you are exactly. I'm only lvl 17 but hope it won't change at later levels.

I have only played wanted so far and i kinda agree with OP. I notice people running around being idiots as i blend in the crowd and pick and choose my moments to kill but i end up loosing becuase im not jumpling all over the rooftops and sprinting to my marks. People ruin the game and its annoying. Howcome 1st place can sit ontop of a 3 story building lookout and never once have his person run up and kill him. I've seen people sit on the tips of roofs for 2-3 minutes just waiting and it ruins the game. Rooftop runners are the most frustrating thing so far in the game. Dont flame me and tell me to use the hidden gun because i do but 100-300 pts. is pretty crappy just because they wanna run on the rooftops.

I've generally found that I sprint to my mark while the compass shows them as a long distance away, then once I get in sight of them keep to low profile. When you only have 10 minutes in a game and you have the added pressure of other players with thee same target as you, you can't afford to be walking absolutely everywhere, you need to close the distance quickly sometimes.

if your traget is a roof camper, just kill a civilian to get a new target.

Wanted is probably my favorite game mode, but I do agree that sprinters ruin the game. They make it hard to be stealthy when they run across the map, stab you before you get a chance to take off, and run away.

Sprinters make my life easy in wanted, if theyre my target I just wait, theres only so far they can go before theyll turn back towards me. If they're my persuer, let them run, smoke bomb, stun and points for me. Remember you can win a game with 10 good kills compared to 30 crap ones.
