Hi, i know the game is old but many players are still playing this game. However, many of us(owner of a ATI cards) cannot play Rogue Spear. For some reason, the game crash right after the introductions videos. Everyone of the community tried a solution(Windows compatibility, Patching and more) without results but we saw that we were all owners of a ATI cards. We cannot ask to ATI to do something because we are pretty sure that a driver will not fix the problem. Anyway, we wish a good answer specially because Rogue Spear ain't like the other rainbow six games. Thanks in advance...

Salut, on sait que le jeu est vieux mais plusieurs personnes jouent encore au jeu. Pourtant, plusieurs d'entre-nous(possesseur d'une carte video ATI) pouvons pas jouer à Rogue Spear. Pour une raison qu'on connait pas, le jeu plante juste après les vidéos d'introduction. Tout le monde de la communauté a essayé une solution(Compatibilité windows, Patchage du jeu et autres) sans résultat mais on a remarqué que nous avions tout une carte ATI. On ne peut pas demander à ATI de faire quelque chose puisqu'on est presque sur que un driver fixera pas le problème. Peu importe, on espère une bonne reponse surtout parce que Rogue Spear n'est pas comme les autres jeu Rainbow Six. Merci d'avance...

I just did. But for a old game like this I dont think its possible. I still wish they will do th same thing then baldur gate enhanced...

Hi Guys,

I am not on windows 7, however my brother is and he installed Microsoft virtual pc and an old copy of xp into that which did the trick.

Another friend just runs his in windows xp s1 compatability mode

There is a post a few threads down........he apparently knows how to fix it. I just sold my laptop with 64 bit ati or i would give it a try....just so you all know! You may be able to play it with his fix or whatever.

I have same problem too! On my CoreDuoE8400 3Ghz and ati hd4850 Rogue Spear 2.05 was crash after run and give me standart system error of Win7 Any1 know how to fix it?
