Hi guys I'm new to this, I have one question on the type III after loading off all my ammo on various boogies, how do I load from the external stores.

    Thanks

    Welcome!

I assume by Type III you mean VIIb or c...

You have to click on the Weapons Officer icon (and have him at his station), its at the bottom/left. Open weapons management there.

Manually click and drag the external torpedo into the INTERNAL storage, it will not work if you drag it into the tube.

Once they load it (takes like an hour and a half), load it into the tube from the internal storage

The "I" key brings up the weapons screen.

You have to be and stay on the surface for reloading externals.

Externals can't be turned around to reload the opposite compartment.

Check if you are on silent running! No work is done as long as you go silent.

Man the correlative torpedo compartmet until the green bar shows "full".

Drag the torpedo into an empty internal slot.
Mouseover the outgreyed external torpedo to see what time it takes to bring the eel inside.
(best time is ~ 40 minutes)

Btw: you can deload and reload torpedo tubes - as long as you have an empty internal slot - by dragging torpedos around.

Welcome and good hunting, Herr Kaleun!
