Alright, I'm getting really sick of having to walk everywhere, because if I'm in a vehicle... if I even tap something the screen freezez. I can hit the scape key and make it back to the menu alright to reload the level, but if I don't load and just hit escape again, the menu screen stays there, but the HUD comes on top of it...

So, I can't drive anything or I have the possibility of running into something and freezing the game... Is there any fix for this?

Heres my specs:

BFG 6800GT OC
Athlon64 X2 4200+ (running on the 32bit version of windows)
2GB RAM
ASUS something or other motherboard...

Any help?

Do you have patch 1.3 installed?

What videocard drivers are you using?

I have patch 1.33 and I am using the Nvidia drivers 77.77 I think...

I'll go check if there are any others and update if there are and I'll be back...

Hi,

Noticed this post, and have a similar problem. Any form of moving the vehicle that "hits" some plants or otherwise, causes you to just seem to "float". Hitting ESC key doesn't go into menu as normal, and returning back has same effect. All you can do is go back to menu and start from previous checkpoint position - situation is unrecoverable.

Am patched up to 1.33, and still; this happens. It's really annoying and spoiling the gameplay. It happens at any time.
