Hi,
Im thinking of buying a 1920x1200 monitor which i would think has a 16:9 aspect ratio....
I would be bitterly disapointed to find SH5 does not support this screen size!!!!
Any ideas, before i wast alot of money.
Thanks

I think that's what I'm using. You'll notice some of my screen shots, though cropped, are almost too wide for the forum - that's why.Originally posted by Poacher886a:

16:9 = 1920x1080
16:10 = 1920x1200

Its good to hear the game supports this resolution!!
On a side note, you have a 24" Laptop????
As far as im aware...TV's dont have either the resolution or the clarity of monitors though, a game like Total war would portay tiny men in the distance as blobs!
We have a HD TV and use HDMI, (not for PC) but up close, it looks as crap and pixaled as they ever did!
try a backlit led screen,my 32" samsung wipes the floor with any monitor i ever had,and i do hi res 3d work.Originally posted by Poacher886a:

nb: i jumped from eizo crt to bl-led though, tft was a waste of time for gaming etc.
majority of tvs these days are fullHD (1920x1080)'s dont have either the resolution or the clarity of monitors though, a game like Total war would portay tiny men in the distance as blobs!

silent hunter5, and other games look/play very nice on my 40" Bravia hx700 (just an ordinary LCD)
Just a question of whether u like sitting up close to a monitor, or back a bit with tv
