lol that nothin this morning there were no less than 10 anti relic threats i seen yet they were quickly got rid off of course:P

i was going to buy COH but from wht i hear it only has a small campain (only allies) and only a few new maps. woopie doo da...

looks like il get FOW maybe,
still. hype sells though sinse i seen like 100s of stupid tv adds for COH, example: after history channel world war 2 program you see a stupid coh advert quote" the most realistic combact experience to date" wow they love to lie dont they sinse coh is not very ralistic but just a fun game so why do they advatise it after REAL world war 2 FACTUAL programs ??

better not rant to much, just get anoyed when, when ppl complain about COH saying it not supposed to be realistic yet they stil advatise it to be just that and where they advatise it on is after REAL life world war 2 programs, like relic has no respect for the ppl who actualy fought in the REAL war not some stupid i can click my mouse faster than you world.

Wow, I had no idea all units were included in the CoH demo already (and that the developer even said it??)! That's depressing!

The lack of any sides except the US and Germans is also quite annoying. It's a fantastic game, but the lack of units and sides to play makes me wonder why the reviews have been so good. Like over 90% for all the reviews so far.

For me the whole concept of being the Americans AGAIN and going in on D-Day AGAIN to win the war alone AGAIN was a complete turn off from the start. Now finding out that they had dished out all the units in the game in the demo is just the icing on the cake. It might look pretty, but in terms of gameplay, content and strategy I just think FoW is way ahead, plus I always like playing the Russians

i realy like coh and how relic has used the DOW style but like you guy said having ANOTHER american saving the war all over again and only germans as the "big bad wolf" is a turn off, but not having much else ie russia britian ect its pretty bad(i know the developers said tht al units be in beta+ demo) but that a big mistake i think snse now evreyone knows wht units like and how pretty bad the reliasm is ie shermans overpowered the BAR now the ultimate infi weapon(it utterly kills anynits in game)which is wied sinse the MP44 was the first assulat rifel at the time and was the one of the best weaponds around even better than the bar.

anyway like the idea behind COH but atm its a bit tooo fictional and limited, maybe once the exspansion comes out if theres one(probaly wil be sinse this the means of which relic makes money, DOW,WA,DC ect ectso probaly be like another 3 more COHs to come lol) wait for the all inclusive package maybe :P

Shadow i agree with you all the way, and Coh is basically just a Mod for DOW. they took years making Fow, but with Coh how long did it take? 5 months or so. its just dow with a world war 2 setting.

i dont see what the fuss is about with it. i played both demo levels and skirmish and its just "meh". its just a c&c clone but you can hide in buildings and take cover etc. Resource points are just like tiberium fields. no matter how much you wrap it up its no more innovative than all the other RTS clones. Also its blatantly based its ideas on showw2 / fow. also whats with the remote bomb? dont recall seeing those in saving private ryan. also the tanks dont look right somehow. and you cant drive through buildings. they should have done it like rome: total war etc. then it would have been better. (ie moving forces on map, encounter other units and fight small scale battle etc.). anyway 2 days to fow ......
