"CRITICAL ERROR: Error loading DLL: CryGame.dll, error code 126". I get this message when I try to start the game. This message shows up when the game is about to load. PLZ help I've had this game for a couple months now and I haven't gotten a chance to play it. PLZ help!!

I am having the same problem and could use the help.

Machine specs: AMD 64 processor 3200+, 1 gb DDR 400 RAM, FX 5500 video card, ASUS A8V Deluxe mobo,

I also had the same problem ... i got a new graphics card and did a clean install and installed the newest updates (and then for the first time it decided not tow work) ... i uninstalled the new updates and just installed the 1.3 update and now it works ... arent new updates suposed to fix problems ... not make new ones. geez.

if anyone had a better way for this to work please tell us.

Crygame.dll is one of the main files needed to play the game. Your installation is corrupt. I would suggest a reinstall, or if you recently uninstalled a patch, put it back. If you are trying to play multiplayer, only patches you need are 1.3, 1.31, and 1.33. If not, stop at 1.3.

I am having the same problem!!

I have a nvidia pcx 5750, P4 3GHz with 1 GB ram...

I complete removed and reinstalled the software... put patch 1.33 on... still no go.

I tried removing patch 1.33 and installing 1.3, same problem.

Any ideas?

You need to install 1.3 first then 1.31 then 1.33 in that order. You need all three.

Even with the latest nVidia drivers (when you use the Far Cry profile in the driver profiles)
