Have you watched the FAQ video? The ancestor's name is Frederick Matthews, who isn't born into the Brotherhood, but finds it after experiencing a tragedy. The series will span 2 years, 1850-1851. First Civilization technology will be making an appearance, and they too will come out. Frederick will have an upgraded hidden pistol, a footblade, and a blade disguised as a cane.
I am interested in the modern setting too.
A footblade....o-o..something like Shao Jun had?
If the series turns out to be good, I may just have it as cannon in my head, so fingers crossed.
