Why don't we say do the equivalent of adding maps dogfighting over Manhattan...without Pacific Theatre locations, the Zero & Frank are kinda silly don't ya think? [img]/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif[/img]

After all, everyone knows that the historically correct restricted forward view in the 190 would result in easy kills for the Japs...[img]/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif[/img]

Not a problem for me. The more choice the better to keep things fresh. As long as there's still a good choice of historically restricted games online, everyone's kept happy, right?


After all, The middle of the gulf of Finland is pretty much indistinguishable from the middle of the Pacific in game terms.

IMO this is the worst dev.update ever.

As for the planes I don`t accept them,I won`t fly them.Too bad this time on modelling and stuff goes into such planes.

As a Willywhiner I can honestly say: Don`t give us G229 or Zero.Take more time making P51D and Me110.

Just more of the "Pandora's Box" opened by the Stang whiners and Jug whiners, etc.

Japanese planes are no more or less relevant than most of the Western add-ons.

If planes are added in SETS of historical adversaries....along with maps of the areas they flew in...then I see no reason not to expand the IL-2 system to other theaters.

It's the "just add this plane because I like it" one-off additions to the set that's so wrong-headed.

like most dogfight servers are very realistic anyway, any plane on any side

and i dont care what the terrain under me looks like when im dogfighting

i just want to shoot some zeros down

if you dont want them dont use them

people arnt gonna make what they dont want to make, specially if they arnt getting paid for it

Im already creating Pacific War Scenarios using FB Maps and they look good, just waiting on the Zero.
I notice 2 Japanese fighters now will be flyable.

Incidently when you see the international success of IL-2/FB, why stop at Russia and Europe,
Plenty of ships in the Game already, all they need is an Aircraft carrier.
Change the Hull shape on the Battle ship Marat and change the flag to Japanese and you have a Kongo class Battle Ship.

The more add ons that come into this Game, the more theatres of War Maddox 1C will be able to expand into over time.
So you end up with the Eastern front that we have now,
The next Sim tipped to be Western Europe or Med or both rolled into one was started last October, after that you are only left with the Pacific.

Why not, so far in the market place not one single competitor has showed up to try and compete with the Quality of Maddox Games.
Financialy Maddox 1c would clean up globaly by creating all theatres of WW II as a result over time, the add ons making each theatre of war easier to move on to.

It makes perfect buissness sense.
