I think the new SC game should focus more on the importance of not leaving a trail, like in past games. The game should still be aggro stealth, but you have to be smarter (if you dont want to be detected)

Non lethal KOs should be optimal, as they leave no blood and the body can be hidden. There should be many ways to hide bodies. Under things, in cans/bins/lockres, water, etc.

You will of course have the full range of lethal kills, and any of them that leave blood (knife, guns) will be more risky, as the AI will react to seeing blood splatters.

Noise should also matter a lot more.

In general the game should maintain a quick methodical pace of killing or sneaking by enemies and covering up the trail you leave. In order to 100% the level you must leave no trace (blood, bullet casings etc)

Sounds REALLY interesting. It's a nice mix of Panther and Pre-SCC gameplay.

I agree, I like the new fast pace and fluid movements, but I would like more options. Bring back jump anywhere, knife, non-lethal take-downs, and body carrying.

Glad to see alot of hardcore SC fans on this site

I really do love Conviction, I might have put as many hours into it as Chaos Theory at this point (and thats a lot). The way they kept the stealth but made it faster, and made being detected a little more forgiving was great for replay value. The random AI paths as well as the high density of enemies makes the game very intense and awesome. Single player was ok... just not memorable to me at all.

I hope they stay with the Conviction style of play and just add a lot to it, and bring back the classic elements from past games. Long live Splinter Cell

    Amen

Judging by the SC6 images I have seen..I think thats exactly what we will see..blend of the two styles.

No trace to 100% a level? Best solution for the stealth v aggro stealth disparity yet...well done.
Big agree on all of your advisement's for game play improvement to the SCC approach. I'm with you.
