I know it can be used on offense to, but there is just something about using MUTE on a pursuer to blow your cover and run up and punch them in the face that makes me LOL every time.
My only real defensive set consists of MUTE/smoke bomb. And I will regularly either smoke bomb them and then MUTE or vice versa to get a double stun. (Something must be done about pursuers being stunned within sight of multiple targets, then being able to still get a 400+ point kill)
After successfully stunning a pursuer twice, I will climb a building and stand on an edge just to taunt them.
"Is the 100 point kill I am about to force you to get (If I don't escape) really worth it after I just got 400 points off of you?"
"I hope you think it is," because I am only going to lead you into another teammate of mine that has both of their abilities ready to go.
Pursuers:
If your target is stationary, it is most likely a trap.
If a suspected target persona randomly changes direction and approaches you guess what? TRAP
If your target is obviously giving away their position? TRAP
If you do not suspect at all thet you are walking into a trap? TRAP
A smart defensive team will restun a player as much as possible.
A smart manhunt player will always pick team 2 because it is easier to overcome a deficit getting 400+ point kills instead off 200 point stuns.
