Please post here only known information about the game - all the other speculations/discussions can be done in different threads in the forum.
Posts that don't contain known information will be periodically removed from this thread.
Thanks.![]()
I found out from OXB mag that in the earthquake chicago is cut off from civilization like an island. I would say this is why the game would last 9 days and not 3 hours because you would think help would come straight away.
Can't wait for the game, Spring 2009!!![]()
Where you say; "The story of the game spins around Adam and Alice. Now this may be just my imagination and coincidence, but if you mess up the letters a bit, you'll get:
Adam Alice = I am Alive".
Well did you actually look at the letters, because there is no V in either name plus the D in Adam or the C in Alice isn't used, plus you have an extra A - a nice idea though it doesn’t work!
Found some intresting info on Ruaumoko;
A term used for a state of the art suite of applications specifically designed to undertake dynamic research essential to working in the field of earthquake engineering.
New info here

Even though I'm pretty sure this term is named after the god of earthquakes. xD
Well, the way you're messing with the letters, quite frankly, you may as well say. "If you change the letters of Chicago, it spells I Am Alive!". The fact is, they wouldn't remove any letters if it was supposed to be an anagram.. Adam and Alice does not make I Am Alive, and it's slightly hypocritical that you told someone else nothing that is not fact will be posted, when you have posted (And even put it in the original post) that you believe Adam and Alice has something to do with the name being I Am Alive, when it is the ohter way around, in the way that it is actually a fact that the names clearly have nothing to do with the name. Not to mention, as far as I know, Adam's name was still Adam back when the game was known as "Alive", so that pretty much erases any of the tiny possibility that I Am Alive = Adam and Alice.
Oh, and how do you know that, if you don't mind me asking?Originally posted by JamieWilmot:

Firstly, I've never put it as a fact, nor do easter eggs have something in common with known information about the game, which has been proven true.
Easter eggs are something subjective, if you are not capable of getting that, then don't start an argument over something you don't even know about.
And secondly, you state information with no proof to gain you win in an argument and judge me? Well guess what, until you prove it to be true, I will see you as a pathetic liar. Good god...
