Thread: My evidence that trailer was at least part in game. | Forums

  1. #1
Evidence this trailer is part gameplay.

    The crowd isnt looking.

    These are not Cgi hands

People on left are acting on a program [see trailer]

At this point the entire people as one change their reactions under programming?

    Not cgi hands or cloak

Does this look like a Cgi leg?

Busted - several frames of THIS going on for about 1 second. See quicktime movie at 1:14 - 1:15.

Thats either in game glitching as seen so frequently in 3d engines. OR Ubisoft rendered it in purposefully as a 2d animation, hoping people like me would pick up on it.

Here at the end we see altair make his escape following the red line. He is still pushing people out the way, a bit of an unnecessary detail for a film maker...

    You're joking right?

Some seriously wishful thinking. I cant even argue your "evidence" because none of it makes any sense.

But not to worry, I'll have a serious warm fuzzy if I'm proved wrong.

Either your right or the people at UBISOFT is pulling our leg. Maybe by rendering everything in lower quality it looks almost in game.

I personally believe its "mostly" ingame. The part near the start where he shots the one guard, then takes down the second, jumps off his back and kills the 3rd and what seems to be actual target seems a little scripted (I hope not though).

I guess until we can see some more footage with some sort of UI people will assume CGI. However, in that interview with Jade Raymond, she said the idea of a UI is going to be very different by most standards (no quoting her, just what I took from it).

If you didn't see the interviews, check them out here: Assassin's Creed Video's and Interviews

Edit: Also in picture #6, look at his hands! His fingers are IN the guards NECK! No way that slipped by an animator if that was actually CGI.

You know what i am sick of people like you, if you know why my evidence which I have collected is nonsense then share it with me.

Why even waste your time on here if you arent going to contribute? You just wasted your time and mine.

Please for my curiosity explain yourself.

Thanks for your response. How come the guys hands are rigid? And his red tag glitches through his tunic?

    Interview with producer of AC

Interviewer: One thing that was really impressive too was when you were walking through the crows and you could kinda push and kinda do those things. People dont really realise erm how good this game looks right now because they really havent seen it and the trailers, you know a lot of people are gonna write that off 'Oh thats not gameplay' this that and the other
Thanks again im just throwing this out there for people in the know to evaluate it, not just laugh at me...

How good the game looks remains to be seen. I don’t think the trailer was actually in game...but I could be wrong.

DB...Blazing angels also uses a motion blur effect and many other filters...And that's a curent gen game .

That's in-game, 90% certain. But what you posted... dunno.

If thats true then thats good enough for me, someone from PS3forums.com spoke to a different producer on the floor and was told by Ubisoft that the video was a seamless mixture of both Cgi and scripted in game.

    So thats that I guess...
