Ok.

I'm running:

Pentium 4, 3.0
1gig of RAM
GeForce 6600, 256MB
DSL Connection.

early last night I was able to play a few Domination games on this computer. now though, I cannot. every time I join a MP server, while the game is loading, it freezes on a Black Screen, and the only way for me to get out of it is CTRL-ALT-DELETE, and shut the game down from the Task Manager.

any clue what could be going on here?

have you tried your firewall setings to make sure its not blockt

no, I did not. could be worth a try.

though, I had no problems playing yesterday, after I installed the game.....

ok, so it's not blocked by my firewall, and I had no problems playing yesterday. but today I get the black screen.

any advice on this?

or am I basically stuck with the single-player mode? (at which point I will have wasted 50 bucks, because I bought this game for the Multiplayer)
