ok extracted all the .dds files into data/textures/geoms and added the custom Harrier skins but they are not showing in game.

jamfanli refers to a "Change skins button" but this is where i fall down. How do you get this?

hmm, i tend not to go into that much fuss, i just rename the original skin and name the new one what the original was in the first place, so the first harrier skin would become something like "old_harrier_skin.dds" and the new skin i'd name "Av8B_harrier_P01.dds" (or whatever the actual name of the original was) its an easy way of putting the new skins into the game, but it means you lose the original when you play it.

Some of the planes original have two kinds of skin, i did not make any changes

I have just done my 1st skin but its way to embaressing to show lol!

If I piant over a wing for example i seem to paint in solid colour and can't see the rivets etc unerneath anymore - so will have to experiment with the blending options in Photoshop until I can work it out. Any clues?

We should start collecting all these skins in one place :-)

i'll upload the skins when i can, be tomorrow i think though, so hold tight btw, more of other aircraft on the way soon also.
