Inspired by the 'box formation' thread in the GD forum, I started playing around with Clint-Ruin's method of copying and pasting waypoint data, then modifying the alt value. This yielded flights stacked directly atop one another, but I can see how to go about creating a proper box if I can just get a couple pieces of information.
The flights within a squadron, or even individual planes could be placed properly by modifying the X and Y coordinates of the original waypoints, but I need to find out just what the X and Y values represent, as in where is 000/000? upper left corner of map? What units are used; meters?
I know, I know -- I could puzzle this out for myself. I'm creative, but lazy.
