Sorry if this has been asked before, but do we know yet what the minimum/recommended system requirements are for heroes 6? I did search the forum and couldn't find anything...

yes minimum/recomended requirements are:

Non-Console maschine...

in other words: PC



PS i read somwhere (most likely on this forum) that if you run H5 they you will be able to run H6... i guess not on very high settings

Thanks Heroes V runs fine on mine so hopefully I won't have to fork out for a new graphics card or anything

Am right with you on this marythemoose, after 7 upgrades over the years i aint giving microsoft any more of my hardernd for a long time, so if it wont run on windows XP i wont bother!

I'm sure you will be able to run it. It H6 looks significantly better than H5. You can turn the settings down.

They have already said that it will run much better as the main problem was CPU optimisation.

In battles when I would cast the fireball spell with a pit lord the frames would drop down to 20 or so even with my overclocked gtx280 and my q9450@3.6ghz. Then I upgraded to a gtx480 and it still did it. It was only when I upgraded to an i7-870@3.84ghz that it finally ran smooth.

It only made use of a single core whereas H6 will likely make use of 4.
