we will be releasing patch 1.10 tomorrow.

Version 1.10

Improvements

• Players will now be informed if a player is lagging behind when loading a multiplayer session
• Players who are not responding for more that 45 seconds can now be kicked by vote


Bug Fixes

• Fixed a rare freeze when conquering a sector owned by another player or AI
• Fixed a non upgradeable tower on “Battle for Tanholm”
• Fixed a bug with a non reachable sector on “Grassland Mesa”
• Fixed a savegame issue on the 1st campaign map
• Fixed a bug with the game´s connection to Facebook
• Fixed a rare bug where the new victory points “Pacifist” and “Ascetic” were not awarded correctly
• Fixed a rare crash with corrupt savegames

I have a suggestion for next patches. I suggest to remove the map Glacier Vale from the empire rotation scheme.

Maps should be made in the way, that all 3 branches have equal chances to win. On Glacier Vale, military branch has much lower chances than religion or trade.

Map has only 6 VPs, it is small, and it has 3 fortified special sectors. Only canons can be effective against neutral and other players' forts. Before canons can be rolled out (cca. 70 minutes of gameplay are needed to roll out enough canons to be effective), religion or trade players win on this map easilly. Map is rich on fertile land resources, so especially religion players can advance very fast, much faster than military.

U can crash the signature of your files, if u wouldn`t use autoupdater.

the auto patch does not always work i have a friend that is trying to patch right now we play on line i have ver 10 and he has a version mis match

how can i find what ver of the game iam playing i am getting a ver mismatch from a friend of mine. If you are thinking of new features how about putting a timer clock like 2 hours and the game ends on points or how many territories you have or soliders killed . That waqs the game will not last 5 hours or until you quite from exaustion

Locate the Settlers7R.exe in your game directory. Right click it and select properties and open the Version tab. In your case it should display 1.10.1303.0.

To finish MP games more quickly, you can host a game using a previously created template with customized victory points. So if you just reduce the amount required to win the game, it'll be won in less time.

while trying to go Empire the game crashes with "Server error: Cannot create new sessio". Which ports do I need to have opened on my FW?

The multiplayer server didn't survive the maintenance. We're working on it.
