Well here she be. As always, a skinner is never really completely satisfied or finished. Just the nature of the beast. But it has been fun putting this one together.

It is created from scratch utilizing the defualt void as a starting point. The internals are, of course, by FBS. A black, skyblue, aqua, and white overlays are included to aid you in getting the particular look you may want.

This template is for public use and may be copied and/or changed at your convenience. Just please leave the credits in place.

Thanks to all of you skinners out there that have taken the time to and effort to put forth your creations. It is because of you that I have kept at it, picking up the hints and tips you so readily offer.

And so, without further babbling, here is my offering.

It is available in both PSP and PSD format. I use version 6 on both programs so most of you will be able to open and edit with no problems.

For download, use the link under my sig. Go to the public download section of the site.

Here's hoping you get some use out of it.

Cool! I'll give it a try with some new 4th FG skins I've been working on and, if I like it enough, use it for their public release.

    Thanks for the replies all.

Sorry for not getting back sooner. System crashed and had to do a complete reinstall. But managed to save most of the hard disk info.

    Again, thanks.

I've heard this from one too many skinners. My advice to you (and anyone else who will listen) is to do regular backups of your files. In addition to periodically copying all my important IL2 files to DVD, I also keep a copy of any "works-in-progress" on a USB flash drive. This is especially easy to do using a utility like MS's Synch Toy to make sure I keep a copy of anything that's new or changed.

Good advice. And I had done just that. Only things I lost were some pics, word docs and emails. About a months worth. All other files, including all the IL2 stuff, had been backed up on a seperate simpletech drive. I'm rather religous about saving the stuff I deem important to me.
