so i build this huge mission with simple waypoints and stuff... and i was getting the error when i saved
    "Chief'1_Chief contains only one waypoint"
then i added 2 waypoints to every single unit and (im sure i didnt forgot one) now gives the error "Chief'41_Chief contains only one waypoint"

whats this about? what does the message mean? whats wrong? =|

The FMB puts weird labels on things. A movable object is often called a "Chief". What it's telling you is that somewhere on the map, there's a movable object that has a starting point, but no second point. It's happened to everyone whose built missions and you usually don't know it happened until you get the message you're getting. I've found such "Chiefs" in far corners of a map, someplace I would never have placed an object. So, scour the map at different zooms and you'll find it. After you finish a mission, go into your FB/Missions folder and you'll see each named mission has two files: a ".mis" and a "properties". The Properties will contain the text of your mission briefing, short description, etc., while the ".mis" file is the text of the mission you built. Open it with Notepad. With some practice, you'll be able to spot things quickly and, by editing the text, you'll be able to accomplish very powerful instructions, even making the mission do things it wouldn't normally do (like get a landing craft to come all the way to the beach instead of stopping offshore). Good luck.

Welcome to the forums OneillSGT. As you can see you've come to the right place.
    We're here to help.

Another way to discover this orphaned "Chief" is to use the "Display Filter" found in the "View" menu.

First, choose "Hide All". Then select an Army. (Red or Blue)
Then select a moving type object. (Aircraft/Armor/Vehicles/Trains/Ships/Rocket)
All these objects must have at least two waypoints.
Choose one army and one type at a time.

When you find the orphaned Chief, either add a second waypoint or delete.

This can take a while if you have a lot of similar objests one the map. Be patient and you will be rewarded.

    Hope this helped.
A positive at***ude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

This problem seems to happen when zooming in or out on a map. Always right click after doing either to see if you get the unselect/delete option. Making sure you have unselected the ship, tank, or vehicle way point you may have just placed before zooming.

I also get it when selecting certain maps, and so always right click before mission building.
