Thread: PATCH WITH/DIRECT IP CONECTION | Forums

  1. #1
    Ok Ubisoft

Release That patch with the Direct IP connection and then .... forget about all the community if you want and at the same time, you will forget about your SERVER TROUBLES once for all, and can get rid of that USELESS IT TEAM department you got there

Some of them are going to loose JOBS anyhow

And we are NOT JOKING about it.

Release the last patch with IP Direct connection.... that will do it .

    PERIOD.

We've asked for it before, and we'll probably have to keep asking for it.

Let us worry about the servers, we know what we're doing. Just use your servers for hosting the forums - which is apparently all they're capable of anyway.

Don't make us connect to your useless POS servers that obviously don't work. Let us host the games (WE DO ANYWAY), and let us worry about the connections.

Let us use steam/gamespy/similar to find and connect to games...

    ANYTHING but your servers.

Might I suggest that as ubi obviously pay very little attention to the forums, we make the same request over and over again as a new topic each time?

Maybe (just maybe) if they see the same sane request over and over again they might actually listen to the community for once...

I would love a Direct IP Connect option! I believe Rogue Spear had it as well as Ghost Recon. Plus, and this is probably old as dirt, but why not enable to name our servers? Like I could name mine, for example, SLippe's Realistic Server or some such crap.

Anyways, I try to run a server [Co-Op Terrorist Hunt] in the evening times for a little bit before I go to work [nights], except on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, then I try and have the server up quite a bit.

Anyways, back to IP Direct Connect...
