Seems it will be almost impossible for some people to come up with one, but let's try!

    So:
What's your favourite modern aircraft FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY THAN YOUR OWN?

And why do you like it?

Please try to let ONLY design and technical considerations enter into your answer. Don't necessarily go for "allied nations" but try to take a good technical look at the hardware from all countries. In short, FORGET about nationality!

And, if someone starts flaming with nationalistic stuff, don't go along with the troll, but stick to the subject.

Maybe we could actually have an interesting aviation-centered thread here....

I'm Danish and we haven't got any aircraft production at all, so for me it's:

    Airliner:
The Concorde, for it's beauty and for being way ahead of its day technologically. And for those who say it wasn't economically viable, it actually started making money in the mid-nineties (when development costs had been covered) AFAIK.

    Fighter:
The F-16. Even though expensive in its day, it's very cost-effective compared to never fighter designs. Design-wise it is a very neat and tight little package and just beautiful with its great-visibility cockpit and under-body air scoop.

I'd go with the Su-27 cause it's one sexy plane. And it's huge, you don't even need to air refuel it! Plus I like all those little lines on it

Long Live the F-16 Fighting Falcon!
